Defender Lower Tether
Description
Designed as a direct replacement for the Defender Harness system, the Lower Tether plays a key role in keeping your dog stable and secure during vehicle travel. Sized to match your harness for a precise fit, it anchors to the seatbelt receiver or lower tether points to limit excess movement. Using an official Crash Safe Lower Tether ensures your harness system continues to perform as crash-tested and intended.

U.S. Shipping Update
New U.S. tariffs may apply to certain Canadian-made products, including dog harnesses. We temporarily paused U.S. shipping because we did not want customers receiving unexpected charges when their orders arrived.
U.S. shipping is now available on a limited test basis while we verify our automatic duty calculations. Any estimated duties and import taxes will be shown at checkout. During this testing period, Optimus Gear will cover any unexpected difference in duties assessed after purchase.
