Meet the Dogs in Charge
Because every company should be run by those they service.
Nala – Chief of Safety & Snoopervision
I’m Nala—and I’m the reason this whole company exists.
A few years ago, I was riding in the car, just like always. We hit the brakes suddenly, and I flew forward—straight into the dash. I wasn’t wearing a harness at the time, because like so many families, mine didn’t know how important it was. After that, they went searching for something truly safe to protect dogs like me… but nothing they found was good enough.
So they started building one.
Crash Safe Dog was born out of that moment. Now, everything we create is tested, trusted, and built to keep dogs secure—because my people never want another dog to go through what I did.
I’ve been here since the beginning, and I take my job seriously. I test every new design, monitor every shipment (from the comfiest bed in the shop), and make sure the team never forgets who we’re doing this for. I’m not just the Chief of Safety—I’m the soul of this company.

Maze – Director of Public Snuggles & Field Testing
Hi, I’m Maze! I’m the youngest on the team, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got an important job to do.
I came into the picture at a time when my family needed something steady. Life was a little loud, a little hard, and kind of heavy. I showed up with a calm heart, a soft head to lean on, and a quiet way of helping everyone feel okay again.
Originally trained as a therapy dog, I now help test our working dog gear—like our therapy, guide, and handle attachments. I also represent Crash Safe Dog at events, CPR courses, and public talks.
But mostly? I’m here to remind people that dogs aren’t just dogs. We’re comfort, connection, and sometimes—exactly what our humans need to keep going.
Daisy – Head of Senior Comfort
I’m Daisy. I joined the team a little later, after a few people gave up on me. Lucky for me, my forever family didn’t.
Now I’m in charge of testing adaptive equipment for dogs who are older, stiffer, or just need a little extra support. I help make sure the handles are strong enough, the straps are soft enough, and the attachments actually make life easier—not harder.
I may move slower than I used to, but my job is to make sure no one forgets that senior dogs still have so much life to live—and deserve gear that keeps up with them.

We’re not just a company. We’re a family that started this journey because we love our dogs—and wanted them to be safe, secure, and comfortable wherever they go.
Every product we build is inspired by the dogs you just met. And every product is made with yours in mind.
Whether you’ve got a goofy puppy, a loyal senior, or a hard-working service dog by your side—we see you. We’ve been you. And we’re so glad you’re here.
At Crash Safe Dog, we don’t just protect dogs. We love them. Like family.
A Letter From Andrew
Hi, I’m Andrew—and that’s Maze, my shadow and the heart of my day.
Crash Safe Dog didn’t start with a marketing team or a business plan. It started with Gordon—my friend, business partner, and the brilliant mind behind our harness design. He saw how flawed the options on the market were and quietly started building something better. The first time I saw what he was working on, I knew it had the power to change lives.
So I left my job, rolled up my sleeves, and went all in.
I learned how to sew. I became a CNC machinist. And together, we built a company from the ground up—one machine, one harness, one dog at a time. Today, I still work on every batch we make, alongside our small and mighty team. Every stitch, every part, every test—we’re hands-on, because safety is too important to outsource.
If you ever reach out—whether you’re curious, overwhelmed, or just want to make sure you’re choosing the right size—you’re talking to me. Not a robot, not a call center. Just a fellow dog person who understands what it means to love a dog like family.
Thanks for being here. We’re so proud of what we’ve built—and even more proud to share it with people like you.
