Optimus Gear is a proud sponsor of the City of Winnipeg’s Parks and Open Spaces by providing complimentary compostable poo bags with dispenser stations to help keep our parks clean.
We have a deep appreciation for the ability to have our dogs be able to exercise and roam freely in the off-leash areas of Winnipeg’s Parks. Along with the luxury of having access to these spaces is the obligation from pet owners to keep our parks clean. Picking up after our pets is essential to ensure that the spaces can be enjoyed by everyone and to mitigate environmental damage.

Animal Services Winnipeg supports our city’s animal community by providing several services including adoption and finding lost pets and locating their owners.

We admire the drive, skill, training and dedication required to be a police dog and handler team in the K9 Unit. The City of Winnipeg’s K9 Unit is renowned as having one of North America’s best training programs.
